FAQ

Answers, up front.

What is paint correction, and do I need it?
Paint correction is the process of removing swirls, oxidation, and micro-scratches from your clear coat using a machine polisher and progressively finer abrasives. If your paint looks hazy under direct sunlight, or you can see circular marks when the sun catches it, correction will bring back the depth and color. For newer, well-kept paint, a single-step Gloss Revival is usually enough. For older or weathered paint, a two-step Clarity Restore or full Mirror Finish is the right answer.
Should I do paint correction before a ceramic coating?
Yes. A ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in when it’s applied. Any swirls or defects get sealed under the coating for the life of that coating. Our 5 Year Ceramic package includes a multi-stage correction specifically for this reason.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Our 2-year professional coating holds up to daily driving for two years with normal maintenance. Our 5-year flagship coating is engineered for long-term preservation and stays hydrophobic for several years with proper upkeep. Longevity depends on washing technique, climate, and storage. We’ll walk you through the aftercare.
Do I still need to wash my car if it has a ceramic coating?
Yes, but the wash is much easier. The coating makes dirt and road film release from the surface with a gentle hand wash. Avoid automatic car washes with rotating brushes. They cause the swirls the correction removed in the first place.
How long does a service take?
Every service has a time estimate on its page. Maintenance details run 1–4 hours. Paint correction runs 4–14 hours depending on vehicle size and severity. Ceramic coatings run 10–17 hours and usually require an overnight stay for proper curing.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
Yes, on request. Drop-off at our Milton studio is standard, but when that’s not convenient we can bring the full setup (machine polishers, inspection lighting, extraction gear, and coating-grade surface prep) to your driveway or office. Quality and pricing are identical either way.
What happens after I book?
You’ll receive a confirmation with the date, time, and a short prep checklist. On the day, drop the vehicle off at the scheduled time. We do a walk-around with you before we start so expectations are aligned. When the work is done, we go through the results together.
Is a deposit required?
Deposit policy will be confirmed at booking. For longer services (multi-stage correction, ceramic coating), a partial deposit holds your slot.
Can you remove scratches completely?
Deep scratches that have broken through the clear coat into the base coat cannot be polished out. Those require paint repair. We’ll inspect first and tell you honestly what’s achievable.
What areas do you serve?
Milton is our home. Drop-off at the studio is standard. Mobile service is available for clients in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Campbellville, Acton, and Georgetown.
